Set-up Gas Service by calling National Fuel 716-686-6123 https://www.natfuel.com/ 


Residents are required to transfer gas service into their name on the 1st day of their lease & keep service active until the last day of the lease. You can call National Fuel to schedule service transfer in advance but they may ask you to call back with a meter reading which will be provided to you during your move-in appointment. Failure to transfer service successfully within 48 hours of a lease start date will result in a $75 administrative fee.


 

  • Residents w/ a Social Security #: Call National Fuel, ask them to start new service in your name, you’ll need to provide them w/ your new address. They will provide you w/ a customer #.
  • Residents w/o a Social Security #: Call National Fuel, ask them to start service in your name, you’ll need to provide them w/ your new address. They will provide you w/ a customer #. You will need to send them 2 forms of photo I.D.; school I.D. / driver’s license / passport

 

  * By fax to 716-857-6500, label the document with your name, customer #, & list your phone # on the document

  * By email to nfg_custsvs@natfuel.com (include your customer # & phone # in the email)


National Fuel may call you after they have processed your paperwork to notify if your account setup has been completed.
